Position Summary: St. Johns Shipbuilding, situated in Palatka, FL, is in search of a versatile Fabrication Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate metal structures and components.
Employ cutting, bending, shaping, and welding techniques to create parts as per project requirements.
Assess materials and choose appropriate fabrication methods to ensure structural integrity.
Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to resolve any fabrication challenges.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiency enhancements.
