Position Summary: The Dredge Engineer at Curtin Maritime is a multi-tiered position involving a range of engineering responsibilities across operational, maintenance, regulatory, and leadership domains. Engineers at varying levels (I-V) contribute their expertise to the operational excellence and innovation of the company while working within the framework of efficiency and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and readiness of assigned dredging equipment, including creating and maintaining inventories and schedules for preventative maintenance.
Facilitate and lead mobilization and demobilization phases of dredging projects.
Coordinate project logistics, including third-party services, to maximize efficiencies and maintain safety standards.
Ensure Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, conduct JSAs or AHAs, and supervise contractors during maintenance periods.
