Position Summary: BAE Systems is actively seeking entry-level welders from our Trade School Partners, particularly those currently enrolled or recent graduates of Universal Technical Institute - Exton, to join our Platforms & Services sector in York, Pennsylvania. This full-time onsite position offers the opportunity to engage in vehicle fabrication utilizing various welding techniques such as MIG wire, dual shield, flux core, submerged arc, TIG, and stick electrode welding, among others. The successful candidate will be integral in setting up and operating welding equipment, interacting with supportive roles, and adhering to safety and quality standards set by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Set-up and operation of hand-held or machine-guided welding equipment.
Material joining using positioners, fixtures, or hand layout as per process documentation.
