Key Responsibilities:
Carry out welding according to provided blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions.
Perform fillet welds in single-pass and multi-pass configurations across various positions and joint thicknesses.
Execute multi-pass full penetration joint details for all joint configurations, with minimal supervision.
Instruct and mentor less-skilled welders and work efficiently while maintaining safe work practices.
Comply with Austal USA standards and project specifications, utilizing strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
