Position Summary: The QA/QC Manager is a key figure in upholding the integrity and excellence of shipyard projects. This management role involves leading a team of inspectors to consistently ensure that all projects meet the highest quality standards. The position's scope includes rigorous inspection routines, verification of compliance with regulatory requirements, and direct involvement in testing and certification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of QA/QC inspectors dedicated to maintaining quality standards across all shipyard projects.
Perform visual inspections of welds, and ensure the proper fit-up of fabricated modules in line with project blueprints and specifications.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including those set by the US Coast Guard (USCG) and the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
