Position Summary: Tampa Bay Ship is seeking skilled Pipefitters to join our experienced team in Tampa, Florida. As a full-time Pipefitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems onboard vessels, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with maritime standards and safety regulations. This hands-on role requires precision and a strong understanding of marine piping systems within a dynamic shipyard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing and water supply systems.
Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles using various hand and power tools.
Install and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems using pressure gauge equipment.
Work closely with other trades and coordinate tasks to meet the project timelines.
