Position Summary: St. Johns Shipbuilding is seeking an Electrical Operator to join our shipyard in Palatka, FL. The Electrical Operator will be instrumental in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various electrical systems aboard vessels, ensuring reliable and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in marine vessels.
Conduct routine checks and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, implementing effective solutions.
Collaborate with electrical engineers and other trade professionals to ensure system integrations are executed as per design requirements.
Maintain detailed records of electrical operations, including logs of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Adhere to all marine electrical safety standards and regulations.
