Position Summary: The Foreman/Supervisor - Welding at Bollinger Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS, directs a team of shop employees involved in production, repair, or material handling processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met within production schedules in a cost-effective manner. This role supervises welders, painters, plant clerks, and general hourly employees, coordinating operations and equipment maintenance under the general direction of plant management. The position plays a key role in maintaining product integrity through collaboration with engineers and quality assurance inspectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Determine work procedures, equipment, supplies, and manpower requirements based on production drawings.
Select, supervise, assign, instruct, and schedule shop employees.
