Position Summary
We are seeking experienced Mates of Towing with wire tug experience for multiple opportunities. Candidates must have hands-on experience working aboard wire tugboats and towing astern .
The Mate will assist the Captain with the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the vessel while supporting towing operations, vessel handling, navigational watches, and deck activities.
Key Responsibilities
Stand navigational watches and assist with the safe operation of the tug.
Assist the Captain with towing operations, vessel handling, docking, and undocking .
Participate in wire towing and towing astern operations .
Oversee and support deck activities and towing evolutions.
Ensure vessel operations comply with applicable USCG, safety, environmental, and company requirements .
