Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Weld and fuse metal components using FCAW and GMAW-Pulse welding processes. Perform structural welding on carbon steel and aluminum in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions as required. Prepare surfaces and joints for production welding by inspecting and cleaning materials as necessary. Examine work pieces and completed welds for defects and verify conformance with required specifications. Properly select, position, and secure welding torches, tips, electrodes, wire, and other welding materials based on the type and thickness of metal.
