Full job description THIS ROLE: The Assistant Port Captain will work directly with the Marine Transportation team on the oversight and management of all vessel related activities and overall operations. This position is responsible for supporting the management of vessel crews in collaboration with Port Captain and other Marine Transportation personnel.   WHAT YOU’LL DO: Assist in management of all vessel-related activities and operations Act as project manager from bid award to completion on assigned Marine Transportation jobs working with customers, crews, agents, vendors, etc. This includes creating voyage plans, project submittals, ENOA/D’s, etc. Know and understand the overall status of the fleet at all times; the “who, what, where, when, how, why” of the vessels Develop an intimate knowledge of our equipment and operations for quality control purposes and to serve as a resource for crews and other Curtin staff....
