Position Summary: BAE Systems is seeking a Certified Welding Inspector for a full-time onsite position located in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves weekend shifts, Friday through Sunday, 12-hour shifts from 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM. As a Certified Welding Inspector, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and integrity of welds on various projects. Your primary responsibilities include reading and working from blueprints, inspecting weldments to comply with numerous welding codes, applying Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts, processing non-conformance for disposition, and providing technical quality support to production and engineering teams. You will also perform various welding inspections, ensuring the company's commitment to exceptional quality standards in all its products and services.
