Position Summary: Tampa Bay Ship is seeking a Dockworker responsible for ensuring the efficient handling of cargo and materials at our docks in Tampa, FL. The role entails the loading, unloading, securing and correct handling of various types of cargo, maintaining safety and accuracy within the high-paced shipyard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload cargo safely from transport vehicles and ships.
Secure materials for transportation and handle cargo documentation.
Maintain an organized and safe dock area, following all safety protocols.
Work collaboratively with the dock operations team to optimize workflow.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Experience working in dock operations, warehousing, or a similar environment.
Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy merchandise and work in various weather conditions.
