Position Summary: The Crane Operator/Leverman I, II, III at Curtin Maritime is responsible for the operation of various floating cranes and mechanical dredges nationwide, with an emphasis on safe, efficient material handling. These roles, divided into three levels of expertise, involve rigorous adherence to safety protocols, proactive maintenance and inspection of equipment, and effective coordination with crew members and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate cranes in accordance with safety procedures, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Perform daily inspections and maintain equipment to prevent malfunctions and ensure operational readiness.
Safely lift and transport materials and equipment, following directions from supervisors and relying on established communication protocols.
Train other crane operators as applicable and partake in continuous learning and skill enhancement.
