Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform lofting, nesting, and template preparation as required by project level.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to support fabrication processes.
- Support plate and structure planning for hull and outfitting items.
- Address drawing clarifications and part location requirements.
- Use 3D models to support production clarity and build strategy alignment.
- Perform other duties as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Reporting Relationship
This position will report to Lofting Group Manager.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in technical drafting or shipbuilding support.
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar CAD software.
- Detail-oriented with an eagerness to learn ship construction practices.
- Good organizational and communication skills
