- Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime & weekends.
- Assist the QA Director in developing and implementing process improvements aligned with company quality objectives.
- Maintain and support automated inspection systems (e.g., SharePoint-based QA tracking, digital inspection workflows).
- Monitor & Support standardization of QA processes across all commercial vessel construction projects.
- Facilitate communication between departments regarding QA documentation, inspection requirements, and compliance standards.
- Support implementation of inspection plans (ITPs), test procedures, and quality control documentation.
- Assist in preparation of quality reports, metrics, and dashboards for leadership review.
- Ensure QA processes align with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, LR, etc.).
- Assist in developing and coordinating Craft training related to QA automation processes.
- Promote ESG’s continuous improvement initiatives within the QA department.
- Support internal and external audits as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No supervisory duties.
REQUIREMENTS
- Requires strong working knowledge of ISO practices and procedures.Intermediate level Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
- Working knowledge of QA automation tools and Microsoft SharePoint platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate across multiple departments.
- Analytical mindset with focus on process improvement.
- Familiarity with inspection plans (ITPs), welding/NDT documentation, and commissioning documentation is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced commercial project environment and have an attention to detail.
