Quality Assurance

Position Summary: St. Johns Shipbuilding is on the lookout for dedicated Quality Assurance personnel to ensure the highest standards are met in the production and repair of marine vessels at our Palatka, FL location. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of upholding stringent quality control protocols throughout various stages of the shipbuilding process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Conduct inspections and audits at various stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Identify any discrepancies or issues and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities and compile reports on findings.
• Train and guide team members on best practices for quality assurance.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in marine, manufacturing, or a related industrial sector.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey quality standards and expectations to team members.

Experience Required: Candidates are expected to bring relevant experience in quality assurance, demonstrating a successful track record in maintaining and enhancing quality systems. Certification in quality assurance or a related field is highly regarded.
