Project Manager

Position Summary: St. Johns Shipbuilding is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead marine construction and repair projects at our facility in Palatka, FL. The Project Manager will helm project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that all phases of production meet our rigorous standards for quality, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of shipbuilding and repair projects, from initial concept through to completion.
• Manage the coordination of staff and sub-contractors, ensuring that all work aligns with contractual agreements.
• Develop detailed project plans to track progress and maintain budgets.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and fostering strong relationships.
• Implement and oversee rigorous quality assurance practices to guarantee delivery of superior end-products.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Extensive project management experience in the shipbuilding industry or a closely related field.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational skills with an aptitude for strategic planning and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.

Experience Required: Preferred candidates will have a notable background in managing large-scale maritime projects, with advanced knowledge in various aspects of ship construction and repair. Certification in project management, such as PMP, is highly beneficial.
