Crane and Rigging Craft Manager

Position Summary:
BAE Systems Maritime Solutions in Jacksonville, Florida, is in search of a highly skilled Crane and Rigging Craft Manager. This essential role involves leading a team of Riggers, Transportation, and Crane Operators while managing multiple projects concurrently, often during weekends. The Craft Manager is pivotal in ensuring timely, cost-effective completion of tasks, adhering to quality standards, and enforcing company policies and procedures. An understanding of critical lifts and NAVSEA standard items along with Coast Guard and ABS rules and regulations is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Riggers, Transportation, and Crane Operators; assign and monitor work across various projects.
• Ensure tasks are completed on schedule and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Supervise rigging shop activities at all project phases, manage personnel functions, including hiring and promotions.
• Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain an understanding of critical lifts, NAVSEA standard items, and relevant rules and regulations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• At least 12 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma or equivalent; lesser years required with higher education.
• Ability to plan, organize, and supervise work in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
• Knowledge of effective supervisory methods and techniques.
• Proficient communication and computer skills.
• Must be capable of obtaining DBIDS for access to Mayport Base facility.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

• NCCCO or NCCER Certification.

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $105,835 - $179,920
