Marine Services Technicians

Position Summary:
BAE Systems is recruiting Marine Services Technicians, ranging from Helpers to Senior Mechanics, to join our Maritime Solutions team in Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time onsite role involves setting up ships and vessels for pumping operations, setting up air services, operating vacuum trucks, executing tank cleaning duties, and blanking tanks with precision. As a Marine Services Technician, you will work within a team to support the safeguarding of naval vessels, contributing to the crucial operations that enable the protection of those serving in the U.S. military.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up ships and vessels for various pumping operations.
• Establish and operate air services needed for projects.
• Operate vacuum trucks and conduct tank cleaning tasks as required.
• Safely work in confined spaces and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Accurately blank tanks and maintain corresponding logs.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• A minimum of 6 months experience in a Heavy Industrial Environment.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
• Must be able to operate vacuum trucks and work in confined spaces.
• Personal tools as listed for Rated Mechanics upon hire.
• Obtain and maintain a Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) access card.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Full-time, onsite position with the necessity to work in various environmental conditions.

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $29,952 - $52,000
