Position Summary:
BAE Systems is on the lookout for a Facilities Supervisor II to join our Platforms & Services sector at Radford, Virginia. The successful candidate will manage a team of 20-30 union employees in an industrial maintenance environment at our multi-craft facility. Your leadership will steer our Pipe, Weld, Millwright, Machine, Sheet Metal, and Insulation shop employees. In this supervision role, it will be your responsibility to prioritize and schedule work effectively to fulfill production demands while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and prioritize the scheduling of work tasks for Pipe, Weld, Millwright, Machine, Sheet Metal, and Insulation shops.
- Ensure the efficient and safe completion of work while meeting all governmental and environmental guidelines.
- Manage and lead a team of union employees in an industrial maintenance setting.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in industrial craft maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge of at least one of the following crafts: Pipe, Weld, Millwright, Machine, Sheet Metal, or Insulation.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
- Industrial craft maintenance background with a management skill set.
- Experience with Maximo or other work tracking software.
- 5 or more years in maintenance management.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Full-time onsite position requiring <10% travel.
Reporting:
The Facilities Supervisor II will report to the higher management within the maintenance department.

Pay Information:
Full-Time Salary Range: $73,778 - $125,422
