Job Description

Position Summary: Hanwha Philly Shipyard in Philadelphia, PA, is offering Co-Op opportunities for students currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree programs related to various disciplines such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Safety, HR, and Business. The program aims to provide practical experience in a leading U.S. shipyard, mentorship, exposure to the maritime industry, and an insight into career pathways within the sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with project planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Support data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and site visits.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in operations, processes, safety, and quality.
  • Gain exposure to shipbuilding and large-scale manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program relevant to the maritime industry.
  • Strong communication skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Open to working in a shipyard/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous internships, co-op, or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
