Position Summary: Bollinger Shipyard Industries is looking for a Pipewelder A to join their team in Pascagoula, MS. This skilled position involves welding prefabricated piping components in accordance with blueprints, work orders, or verbal instructions, utilizing various welding processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weld prefabricated piping components using specified welding procedures detailed in blueprints or specifications.
• Remove excess welds, slag, and splatter using appropriate tools such as power grinders, chipping guns, or manual hammers.

Qualifications:

• Proficient knowledge of pipe welding procedures and safety requirements.

Experience & Training:

• Prior pipewelding experience is preferred; however, vocational training is also acceptable.
• American Bureau of Shipbuilding (ABS) certification may be required to validate competency in pipe welding procedures.
