Electrical General Foreman

Position Summary: Bollinger Shipyard is looking for an Electrical General Foreman in Pascagoula, MS to oversee multiple production phases, ensuring budget and project schedule adherence. The role includes supervising foremen and lead worker supervisors and providing operational oversight to electrical departments. The General Foreman will work closely with superintendents and quality control managers to deliver compliant and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide foremen on lead worker and employee supervision.
• Promote and maintain safe working conditions across production areas.
• Analyze project specifications, engineering drawings, and provide input for project strategies and scheduling.
• Review workstations for resource efficiency and ensure production performance indicators are met.
• Align workforce deployment with foremen for optimal efficiency.
• Assess employee performance and advocate necessary training for skill enhancement.
• Monitor project budgets, scheduling, and ensure quality control and adherence to company specifications.

Qualifications:

• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems and maritime operations.
• Familiarity with company policies, project contracts, and specifications.
• Proficient in managing departmental budgets and work schedules.
• Ability to effectively manage workforce and overcome project challenges.

Experience and Training:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years of production supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with five years of supervisory experience preferred.
