Position Summary: General Dynamics NASSCO is searching for an experienced Outside Machinist for ship repair operations at its San Diego, CA location. The Outside Machinist will install, maintain, and repair ship propulsion systems, auxiliary systems, and fluid systems, which may include steam, turbine, electrical, and diesel propulsion, rudders, steering gear, elevators, and various other components. The role includes testing equipment for specification compliance, installing shop equipment, and performing tasks as required for ship maintenance and repair.

Pay Range: $34.43 - $37.78 per hour
