Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the Maritime Training Program, which includes on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced professionals.
• Learn and apply Curtin Maritime’s core values while developing a range of maritime skills.
• Work through three levels of training, gaining experience for career advancement within the maritime industry.
• Demonstrate hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude to progress through the program quickly.
• Engage in diverse maritime operations, including tug, barge, and crane operations.

• Initial work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of overtime as needed.
• The program requires travel to various locations, potentially on short notice, as Curtin Maritime operates nationally and internationally.

Reporting:

• Trainees will report to the program supervisors and work under key mentors during their career journey.

Location:
Long Beach, California, with required travel for projects.
