Deckhand Trainee

Position Summary:
Curtin Maritime is seeking motivated and driven individuals for the Deckhand Trainee program, an opportunity that offers a pathway to a high-paying seafaring career. Work Environment:

• Initial work schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Port of Long Beach headquarters.
• Opportunities to work in various locations, including the Pacific Northwest, Gulf of Mexico, Hawaiian Islands, California coast, and Pacific Rim islands.

Reporting:

• Deckhand Trainees will report to senior crew members and receive guidance from various departments throughout their training.

Location:
Long Beach, California (Primarily based with required travel)

Compensation:
Training salary with potential to earn $80,000+ annually after reaching Deckhand/Mate/Captain Level, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.
