Job Description

Position Summary:
The Site Administrator at Curtin Maritime is crucial for providing operational and administrative support across construction and dredging project sites. Adhering to the company's core values of efficiency, innovation, and integrity, the Site Administrator ensures that project logistics, procurement, and administrative tasks align with company policies and contribute to the success of site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid the Project Manager with operational oversight and routine project reporting.
  • Manage the day-to-day schedule and responsibilities of the parts runner while providing direction and feedback.
  • Prepare and review project submittals, ensuring quality and accuracy.
  • Facilitate the setup and management of temporary project site infrastructure, including offices and laydown yards.
  • Handle procurement of consumables and operating supplies for equipment and vessels.
  • Maintain thorough records of requisitions, purchase orders, and repair orders.
  • Manage project logistics, including heavy trucking and LTL shipments.
  • Coordinate with the Crewing Coordinator on logistics and lodging for crewmembers.
  • Prepare and submit accurate weekly payrolls for all hourly job site employees.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience of 5+ years.
  • Aspiration to advance into a Project Management role, exhibiting strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically with an eye for long-term project impact.
  • Strong computer literacy and a passion for performance improvement and exceeding expectations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Capable of walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing, including entering confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and work amid potential exposure to hazardous conditions.

Work Environment:

  • Predominantly office-based with necessities of occasional site travel.
  • Monday through Friday schedule with some travel required to project sites.

Reporting:

  • Reports directly to the Project Manager or other assigned supervisory roles.

Location:
Nationwide, with options for remote work and based in Jacksonville, Florida (Hybrid)
