Summary

We are seeking a Nondestructive Testing Technician to join our team at SONS Marine and Industrial. This role is crucial in ensuring the integrity and safety of materials and structures through various testing methods. Based in the United States, you will contribute significantly to our mission of delivering quality service in the marine and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nondestructive testing (NDT) on materials and components to assess their integrity.
• Interpret codes and standards related to NDT procedures.
• Utilize various testing equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
• Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the development of testing procedures and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nondestructive Testing Technician .
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of testing methods.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to NDT practices.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent analytical skills for evaluating test results.
• UT, MT, VT
