Technical Recruiter - Maritime

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in talent acquisition and be adept at sourcing, interviewing, and managing candidates across various levels of the organization. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers. You will play a crucial role in shaping our workforce by attracting top talent and ensuring a smooth recruitment process.

Duties

• Conduct full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
• Utilize various platforms for HR sourcing, including social media management and job boards.
• Manage relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.
• Execute technical recruiting for specialized roles, ensuring candidates meet the necessary qualifications.
• Implement campus recruitment initiatives to attract emerging talent.
• Negotiate offers and contracts with selected candidates while adhering to employment & labor law.
• Maintain accurate records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Collaborate with HR teams on employee orientation, evaluation, and relations processes.
• Conduct cold calling and lead generation activities to expand the candidate pool.
• Participate in succession planning and training & development initiatives for new hires.

Requirements

• Proven experience in recruiting across various sectors, including executive recruiting and internal recruiting.
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of talent management strategies and employee evaluation processes.
• Experience in sales or lead generation is a plus.
• Ability to conduct research on industry trends and best practices in recruitment.
